Summer is the perfect time to get your Background Check.  Background checks are needed to be in the classrooms and chaperone field trips and are good for two years from date of approval.

Our garden beds have been planted and need love and care over the summer break.  The classroom and garden club students have planted vegetables and flowers in our beds and are excited to see what has grown and harvest when we return to school in the late summer.  If you are able to help care and water the beds over summer break, we need your help.  The schedule is set up for weekly periods but more than one volunteer can sign up for a particular week. Children's Choice will be on GO'K campus through Friday, May 27.  They will operate the following hours:

May 25, 11am - 6pm (GO'K release time at 11am on 5/25/16)

May 26, 7am - 6pm

May 27, 7am - 6pm 

 

Children's Choice will return to GO'K on the first day of school, Thursday, August 11, from 2pm-6pm.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2016-17

Students already enrolled at Georgia O'Keeffe:

Registration packets will be sent home the week of March 7 - March 11, 2016. To complete registration, fill out the registration materials enclosed in the packet, and you must provide two proofs of residency (you may black out dollar amounts) which are:

  1. Current lease/mortgage statement*
  2. Current PNM or NM Gas bill

Incoming Kindergarten Students:

Registration packets will be ready for pick up in the office on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 and need to returned by Friday, March 18. There will be a Kindergarten Orientation Night on Wednesday, April 6 at 6 pm in the Kindergarten Wing for those who are able to attend. For registration you will need:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Immunization records
  3. Two proof of residency (you may black out dollar amounts) which are: 
  • Current lease/mortgage statement*
  • Current PNM or NM Gas bill

Family Living with Family Students:

(Student's registration packets will be kept in the office)

Please stop by the office and get a 'Family Living with Family' form beginning the week of March 7-11. You must have the form notarized in order for your form to be complete. You will also need:

Two proofs of residency (you may black out dollar amounts) which are:

  1. Current lease/mortgage statement in homeowner's name with address*
  2. PNM or NM Gas bill in student's parent/guardian name including address

Once you have turned in all the necessary paperwork to the office, final instructions will be given to complete the registration process. 

 

New Incoming 1st-5th grade students (not currently enrolled in GO'K):

Registration packets will be available for pickup in the office on Monday, April 11. Please make sure you have:

  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Two proofs of residency (you may black out dollar amounts) which are:
  1. Current lease/mortgage statement*
  2. PNM or NM Gas bill

 

*PLEASE NOTE:  For leases expiring prior to the start of the school year on August 11, 2016, updated leases will need to be provided to the office between August 1 and August 10 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm for your registration to be completed.
