Learning for today and tomorrow.......

Principal's Corner

Dear Parents:

On Site After Care Provider for SY 2014-15  - Information Session

Georgia O’Keeffe is considering a different afterschool provider for next school year.  We would like to offer Children’s Choice as next year’s on site provider. Through our March newsletter we notified parents of an information session held on March 25.   We would like to offer another opportunity to ask questions about this dynamic afterschool program by inviting interested parents to a morning “Coffee Chat” on April 2, from 7:30AM -8:00AM.  Children’s Choice representatives will be available in room #104 to answer questions and provide additional information. Please visit their website www.childrens-choice.org and the following links to examine specifics about this program.

As a school community we would like to offer our families an afterschool provider that can continue the same level of high quality student engagement that we provide during the school day.  We desire a program with exciting and enticing activities that fosters continued learning and fun after school.

A few highlights that encouraged us to consider Children’s Choice are:

*Children’s Choice achieves high quality programming for after school activities by focusing on Environment, Relationships and Experiences.

*Children’s Choice is rated as 5-star aftercare provider through New Mexico State Licensing, which indicates a high level of standards across their program.

*Children’s Choice offers well-trained staff, a degreed site director and ratios of 10:1, which result in a positive and professionally implemented program.

*Children’s Choice offers daily drop-in, periodic field trips, and availability on in-service days and all but eight holiday days.

We appreciate your input as we strive to offer a safe, exciting and high-quality aftercare program for our children.
