Reflections Info -- Deadline Extended to Dec. 6!
Posted 11/28/21

We are extending the deadline to next Monday which is December 6th Midnight!  So, you have one extra week!

We know that your Thanksgiving Holiday was super fun but busy and many of you could not submit.   So here's another chance!

As of today, there are 28 entries. The top 3 winners in each category will receive a medal so grab your chance!

  • Remember you cannot use your APS school-related email. Use your own or your parent's personal email to submit entries!
  • For Visual Arts and Photography, please submit both digital photo and the actual artwork to your teacher by Dec. 6th.
  • Students may enter for more than one category!  So even if you have submitted already, you can still do more!

Reflect and enjoy!     - From the Reflections Committee

Make sure you check out the "Guidelines" and "How to Enter" form, as there are specific file formats and sizes that are accepted.  (forms were sent digitally in the PTA announcement and sent home with your child)

This year's theme is "I WILL CHANGE THE WORLD BY...."  Students are invited to create and submit original works of art in Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts.  Students submit their work and are judged by judges with expertise in each area. There are three judging criteria: Interpretation, Creativity, and Technique.   Judges strongly consider the interpretation of the Reflections theme during the evaluation process.  Work is judged within 3 groups:  1) Primary: K-2nd grade  2) Intermediate: 3-5th Grade  3) Special Artists

  • Student Entry Deadline:Monday, November 29, 2021
  • Celebration at GOK:  December 6-9, Monday-Thursday 2021 (During the Book Fair)
